At one time, it was possible to take Norwegian cruises from Southampton, especially in the year 2009. At that time, the Norwegian Jade would sail from this port and cruise to different destinations. At present, however these Norwegian cruises from Southampton have been discontinued and so there is no option other than to purchase a ticket to reach the departure port from where various Norwegian Cruise Line ships carry passengers on cruises to virtually every destination in the world.
